Concerns grow for missing Terry

CONCERNS are growing for a man missing from his home for more than two weeks.

Terry Holliday, 52, has not been since at his home in West Road, Southend since January 5.

Police are continuing to search for him but fears are growing for his safety as the temperatures continue to dip below freezing.

Det Chief Insp  Lynn Goodall of Southend CID said: "Mr Holliday lives a nomadic kind of life and often goes off to stay with friends but no one has seen him since January 5.

" It is completely out of character for him to go off somewhere without telling his friends.

"We are extremely concerned for his welfare especially if he is wandering outdoors in the current freezing conditions.”

Mr Holliday is 5ft 10ins tall, slim and has short, thinning grey hair.

He wears glasses and has a silver ring on the middle finger of his right hand. When last seen he was wearing grey jeans, a grey waterproof coat, brown shoes , a brown jumper with a pink white and blue diamond design and a white T-shirt underneath.

Anyone with any information about his whereabouts can contact police at Southend on 101.
