21-year-old arrested at flats in Sherwood Way, Southend, after police stand-off

A man will be appearing in court today having been arrested following a stand-off with police in Southend on Saturday night, November 10.
Wayne Kavanagh, 21, of no fixed address was arrested at flats in Sherwood Way, Southend, after negotiations with firearms officers.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary at properties in London Road, Southend, on November 5, and Hastings Road, Southend, on November 6, as well as burglary of a property in Hastings Road and November 6.
He will appear at Southend Magistrates Court today, Monday.
