A MUM-TO-BE is urging all pregnant women to protect themselves and their unborn child with the latest vaccinations.
Natasha Harmsworth-Blyth has already had her flu jab and is due to have the whooping cough vaccine later this week.
Pregnant women are being reminded by GPs to have the flu jab which is also offered to people over 65 and those with long term health conditions.
Natasha, 23, whose baby is due on October 26, said: “I think it’s so important to do this. These are medically trained professionals advising us what’s best for our unborn child.
“We have these little babies growing inside us and we do the best for them by eating the right things so why not this?
“It takes five seconds to have the injection.”
