Man feared missing at sea is named

POLICE have named a missing man believed to have been last seen in difficulties in the sea off Southend.
Officers want to hear from anyone who might have seen Stephen Jones, 52, in Southend before or since August 30 when emergency services were called to reports of a man in the water off Western Esplanade.
Anyone with information about Mr Jones’s movements in the Southend area should contact officers at Southend police station on 101.
