Updated: Second death after motorbike crash in Southend

A second man involved in a head-on crash in Southend has died.
The 22-year-old, from Rayleigh, was riding a blue Yamaha YZF which collided with a red Vesper moped driven by a 55-year-old man from Southend.
The 55-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and the 22-year-old taken to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel in a critical condition.
The hospital has now confirmed he succumbed to his injuries yesterday afternoon.
