A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after police seized a large knife.
On Tuesday, September 18, PC Ben Lever and PC Justin Skinner from Southend Local Policing Team were patrolling the high street and surrounding areas when they arrested a 15-year-old boy in Essex Street.
The boy, from Southend, was charged with possession of a knife in a public place and is due to appear at Southend Youth Court on Thursday, October 4.
