Officers responding to concerns for the safety of a man have arrested three people for a series of offences, including false imprisonment and possession with intent to supply.

Police were called to an address near to Rydene, Vange, just after 10am on August 14, after an initial call was made about the concerns for the safety of a man.

Three men, all aged in their 20s, were arrested.

Connor Bruce, 23, from Brownlow Bend in Basildon, was charged with two counts of criminal damage following the incident and will appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on September 21.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, false imprisonment and GBH. He has been released on bail until September 4.

The third man, aged 21, was arrested on suspicion of intent to supply Class A drugs and handling stolen goods. He has been released on bail until August 30.
