A SWING band made an appearance at a café under new ownership in Southend at the weekend.
The Terry Fane Swing Band performed in the sunshine on Saturday at the Glasshouse Cafe, Warrior Square, which recently opened under new ownership on June 1.
Steve Cole, one of the cafe’s new owners said: “It was great to have Terry and his band with us on Saturday - we are hoping to invite as many artists as possible to bring a wide range of people to the cafe.”
The Glasshouse aims to host live music regularly throughout the rest of the summer.
