A STAGE school is preparing to perform at Disneyland.
The Tina Phelps Stage School, based in Southend, is in the final preparations for its trip to Disneyland Paris on Friday.
More than 100 pupils and parents from the school will be travelling to France and will be performing five different dances on the Videopolis Stage in Discoveryland.
The school has been rehearsing for the last few months and the parents set up a fundraising team to help with the travel costs and managed to raise more than £3,000 towards the trip.
The school wants to thank the following charities to donated funds to the school trip: The Round Table Southend, The Southend Taxi Drivers Charity fund for children and the Southend on Sea Lions Club Trust Fund.
A school spokesman said: “Thank you also to George Birchall services which donated a brand new Ipad for a raffle and all the parents who raised money by holding events such as parties, meals, raffles and even a race night.” If you can help, email tinaphelpsstageschool@hotmail.com
