M&S Confectioners
Two men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a confectionary shop.
The incident happened at around 6.10am on Sunday, January 7 at M&S Confectioners in London Road, Rayleigh.
Two men were arrested yesterday.
Alan Ingram, 27, from London Road, Rayleigh and David Sweet, 35, of Helmores, Basildon have both been charged with attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and possessing a firearm while committing a schedule one offence.
They are both due at Southend Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
