Do you want to perform at Southend's City of Culture event?
THE Alternative City of Culture will come to an epic conclusion in December and there is still a chance to get involved.
The event takes place on Saturday, December 2 from 1pm to 3.30pm in the council chamber,Victoria Avenue, Southend. MP for Southend West, Sir David Amess, is calling on people to come forward to showcase their talents and make it a “performance to remember.”
Sir David said: “This is your last chance to make a contribution as the year draws to an end. We are looking for choirs, orchestras, musicians, chefs, dress designers, actors, actresses, comedians, artists, jewellers, poets and more.” To take part email amessd@parliament.uk or call 0207 219 3452.
