The man who died after a violent attack in South Ockendon yesterday has been named locally.
Danny Adger, 34, from South Ockendon died from serious injuries after a knife attack outside flats in Eden Green.
The altercation is believed to have started in a property before spilling onto the street.
The air ambulance was called to rush Mr Adger to hospital but sadly he died on arrival.
No one has been arrested in connection with the crime and police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
A section of the road was cordoned off for forensic examination yesterday evening.
Anyone with information, CCTV close to the scene or was driving in the area between 12pm and 2pm and has dashcam footage is asked to call Harlow Major Investigation Team on 101.
