The Vulcan Restoration Trust is inviting the public to climb inside the cockpit and take a guided tour of the Vulcan XL426.
Now settled in her new home inside Southend Airport’s Hangar 6, the Vulcan XL426 can be seen undercover after weathering the elements for more than 30 years.
The airport will be opening its doors to visitors to see the Buccaneer, Jaguar and Hunter aircraft cockpit nose sections, a Green Goddess fire engine, Cold War military vehicle displays and classic Sixties and Seventies cars. The Trust’s team will be on hand to give visitors a guided tour of the Vulcan XL426 and for an additional small fee visitors can climb inside the cockpit. There will also be plenty of other attractions. Head to the airport for the next Visit the Vulcan Day on Sunday.
