A SCHOOL provided its pupils who have good attendance records with a real treat.
Children at William Read Primary School, on Canvey, who had perfect attendance records were jumping with joy as they were given time on a bouncy castle.
The children with good attendance were given cinema tickets, thanks to Movie Starr.
All the children also receive a certificate, a bookmark, a pin badge for their blazer and a ruler and a pencil.
Every child who got 100 per cent attendance were entered into a draw for a bike, and the winner this year was Faith Aryio.
Karina Garrick, deputy headteacher at the school, said: “Our whole school attendance has risen this year because of our robust systems and attendance initiatives.”
