A TEENAGER has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after she assaulted two police officers in the execution of their duty.
Tiffany Ambrose, 19, of Sherwood Way, Southend, admitted the assaults, which took place on April 30 in Southend.
She further admitted keeping a child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, away from a responsible adult on the same date.
Magistrates ordered her to take part in a community order.
The order includes a ten-day rehabilitation activity requirement and 150 hours of unpaid work, which must be completed in the next 12 months.
As well as the unpaid work, magistrates ordered her to pay £50 compensation, a £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Ambrose’s guilty plea was taken into account when imposing a sentence.
