A DRIVER crashed into parked cars after a man got into his vehicle and he was threatened with a knife.

A group of six men approached the victim’s Ford Fiesta, as the car was approaching a dead end in Wallis Avenue, Southend.

As the victim attempted to drive away, one of the men from the group got into the car.

The Fiesta then came to a stop but crashed into a number of parked vehicles.

The victim was able to then leave his car and escape.

It is believed other members of the group made off from the scene in a silver car, possibly a Vauxhall.

The victim’s car was not stolen.

It is believed one of the six men was carrying a knife, which he threatened the victim with.

This man was described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall and of broad build. He is believed to be between 17 and 18 years old and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.

The other five suspects were also described as white and between 17 and 18 years old. They were of differing builds and wearing hooded tops.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident which took place on May 3 at around 5.30pm.
