THE BIZ’EE Women networking group raised £200 for a mental health charity at their latest business meeting.

The group supported the Basildon branch of Mind at the Spring Event at the Burstead Golf Club, in Billericay.

Jill Foley, from Basildon Mind, attended the event alongside Frances Blanchard and Angela Chapman, who shared their experiences of how the charity had supported them and their families over recent years.

Jill said: “Donations from events such as this are very gratefully received and extremely important to our survival.

“Budgets have ceased in many areas including our own but this will enable us to continue to support people locally who are experiencing mental distress.

“Our thanks go to the Biz’ee Women for choosing to support us through this event.”

The Big Spring Networking event also included a motivating workshop by mentor and master trainer Tracey Corlett, as well as the opportunity to browse products sold by the entrepreneurs in attendance, speed networking and a raffle.
