Woman approached by two men who tried to steal bike and handbag
A WOMAN riding her bike was approached two men who tried to steal the bike and her handbag.
They left without taking anything and went down Gainsborough Drive.
Police are investigating the attempted robbery in West Street, Southend that occurred around 8.30pm on Sunday, April 16.
Both suspects are described as being around 30-years-old, of slim build with missing teeth. One suspect had blonde hair tied up in a bun, the second suspect had dark hair tied up in a bun.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Dc Christian Forbes at Southend CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
