Sue Hampson and Malcolm Tugwood
A ROTARY Club is gearing up for another year of fundraising and socialising with a new president at its helm.
The Rotary Club of Canvey Island met at the Oysterfleet Hotel, in Knightswick, Canvey, to welcome in its new president, Malcolm Tugwood.
During the meeting, outgoing present, Sue Hampson, handed over the group’s chain of office and bell to Mr Tugwood.
In turn, Mr Tugwood then handed over the president-elect chain to Rotarian Colin McLean, who will take on the role next year, and added he hoped his term in office as president would “pan out well”.
