Fire crews called in tumble dryer fire
TWO fire crews were called to a tumble dryer fire in a house.
One crew from Southend fire station and a second crew from Hawkwell fire station were called to Hainault Avenue, Rochford at about 6.20pm tonight.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "By the time we arrived at the property the fire was almost out.
"We sent the crews in who brought the tumble dryer out of the property and we left about half an hour after arriving.
"There was no damage to the inside of the property".
