TWO recycyling projects in Glasgow have made a shortlist of three organisations competing to receive a Scottish title.
Ibrox-based Spruce Carpets and Castlemilk's Community Can Cycle, along with Edinburgh project Changeworks, are nominated for Best Community Sector Initiative in the Scottish Waste and Resources Awards.
Spruce Carpets turns flooring set for landfill into low-cost goods for people with less incomes.
Community Can Cycle operates an aluminium and steel can and glass bottle collection service, which it recycles and sells to reprocessing firms to help fund its bicycle repair workshop.
The winner will be announced on October 8.
