Police warnings over skimming devices on Rochford cash points
ROCHFORD cash points are being targeted by thieves using skimming devices.
Police are reporting several skimming and small recording devices attached to cash withdrawal machines around the Rochford District.
Users are being warned to examine cash machines before inserting cards.
Devices could retain cards and record PIN numbers which are later used to withdraw cash.
Anyone who believes there is anything suspicious about a cash machine should inform the business premises immediately and the police on the non-emergency number 101.
