On song - the choir entertained shoppers in Southend
AN award-winning choir brought shoppers to a halt as nearly 50 members broke into song.
Singers from the Funky Voices choir joined forces for a fundraising flash mob in The Royals shopping centre, in Southend.
They all got into the spirit by donning Superhero-inspired outfits for the performance, including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
The flash mob was organised to raise money and awareness for BBC Children in Need, which will hit our screens on Friday.
The choir enjoyed a one-day tour of Essex, also putting on performances at Lakeside, and in Chelmsford and Colchester town centres.
