COMMUTERS on the c2c rail line have been faced with cancellations and a disrupted service this morning due to electrical supply problems.

Nine trains in and out of London Fenchurch Street have been cancelled betweem 7am and 9.30am, due to overhead wire problems.

An earlier Tweet from c2c said: "Due to overhead line damage in Barking Area, Network Rail have advised us we are unable to safely run a full service this morning."

Trains from Shoebury into London have been calling at Laindon, Upminster and West Horndon, to pick up commuters affected by cancelled services.

Abelio Greater Anglia are accepting passengers with c2c tickets via any reasonable route until further notice.

The network are expecting disruption until 12pm today.
