A WOMAN involved in a minor road dispute in Southend later found that her car had been keyed.

The incident, which is being investigated as criminal damage, occurred at Southend Hospital on Sunday, May 18.

The woman was driving into the entrance of the Cardigan Wing car park when she almost had a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian and the woman exchanged words before the driver left and went into the hospital.

After returning back to the vehicle, she was shocked to find that every panel of her car had been keyed. Charity stickers on the car, which relate to cancer charities the owner has raised money for, were also damaged.

Investigating Officer Pc Martin Thacker said: "These have huge sentimental value to her as she has lost friends to cancer and she was understandably upset by this as well as the car damage."

Anyone with information should contact PC Thacker at Southend Neighbourhood policing team on 101.
