A DRIVER may have vital information about a serious crash in Rayleigh, police believe.
A 43-year-old from Ashingdon was seriously injured after losing control of his car on Eastwood Road on Friday, March 21, around 10.30pm.
He had been driving a silver Audi A3 at the time.
Police have said today that they need to speak to the driver and any other occupants of a car that was travelling along Websters Way from the direction of Eastwood Road towards Hockley Road that may have seen the silver Audi pass a white Ford Mondeo taxi before the crash.
The injured man is now recovering at home after suffering serious leg and hip injuries.
The people from this car are urged to contact the Pc Martyn Wells at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk.
