An accident involving three vehicles has partially blocked Eastwoodbury Lane in Southend at the junction with Vickers Road.

A Citroen Saxo and Renault Van collided at 7.40am, following the initial collision the van proceeded to crash into a parked Peugeot which was unoccupied.

The male drivers of both vehicles are uninjured but the Saxo is badly damaged and has been removed from the road. 

Police have closed the road for approximately two hours but the blockage has now cleared.

The airport did NOT have any delays this was on the road and did not effect airport operations in any way shape for form, so please get your facts right.

the photo is not even Eastwoodbury Lane or even Eastwoodbury Crescent which are both only two lane carriageways and not St.Lawrence Way or any other roads near the airport looking like that.
