Southend Coastguard search for two missing women
A RESCUE team from Thames Coastguard was sent out yesterday on two occasions to search for two missing women.
The Southend Coastguard Rescue Team was first called out at around 12.30pm, and worked with Essex Police to search the Southend area for a missing suicidal female, with nothing untoward found.
The woman was later reported to have arrived at the home of her mother.
Later on, at around 8.20pm, the teams were called out again to search Westcliff for a suicidal woman who had threatened to walk into the sea.
The woman was also found safe and was located at a friend’s house.
