POLICE investigating the theft of £1,300 worth of cosmetics from a chemist in Leigh want to identify two women who were caught on CCTV at the time of the theft.

One of the woman is believed to have been in the store on two occasions when make-up was stolen.

The other woman was present when the second theft took place. The first theft happened at 2pm on December 21.

A woman had entered French's Chemist, on London Road, and selected various cosmetic items from the display before hiding them in her coat and leaving the store without making any attempt to pay.

The second incident took place at 3.50pm on January 4. Two women came into the same shop and selected numerous make-up items from the shelves and hid them in a bag and their coats before again leaving without making any attempt to pay.

The first suspect is described as white, aged in her 30s, with highlighted blonde shoulder length hair. The second suspect is white, aged in her 50s, with blonde hair.
