Blogger Jack Monroe's visit to Tanzania

Southend Standard: Blogger Jack Monroe's visit to Tanzania Blogger Jack Monroe's visit to Tanzania

FOOD blogger and Echo columnist Jack Monroe visited a single mum in Tanzania in a similar situation to hers.

Oxfam invited single mum Jack, 25, after the success of her blog about living on the breadline.

During her time there, Jack met Irene, 24, who lives in a friend’s bedroom in a shared house and borrows food from her neighbours to get by.

Jack wrote: “She could have been speaking of Southend, where I live.”

What ridiculous comments above. Jack Monroe always gets it in the neck from people. She lived through poverty and now becomes a success whilst also trying to make a difference.
What's wrong with that ?

Hello Profondo, I have two "contributors" who might benefit from a contribution or two from your good self.
White rabbit9 (very left wing) and Greenbrown (gobby) both are pro pot so probably haven't washed in ages.

Nothing wrong with it at all. I guess some people just don't like people who pull up their socks and try to better themselves. What a shame people who try get slated time and time again.
