A NEW florist store opened in Rawreth last Saturday (January 18), aiming to capitalise on one of the busiest times of the year for giving flowers.
With Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and wedding fairs all just around the corner, Theresa Walsh, 32, is hoping they will provide a bumper start for Olivia’s Roses.
Conservative MP for Rayleigh and Wickford, Mark Francois, is a family friend of Theresa and was on hand to officially open the florist, at View Garden Centre’s Craft Village.
Theresa said: “I wouldn’t be living in Rayleigh were it not for Mark so it was only right that he was there.
“It was a big success, I had quite a few friends and family coming down to support and wish us good luck.”
