Jewellery stolen in Westcliff house burglary

POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following a burglary in Westcliff where jewellery with an extremely sentimental value was stolen.

The burglary took place at a house in Prince Avenue on Monday, November 25, between 9.40am and 11.40am.

A gold sovereign ring, a gold bracelet, an Apple iPad2, a HP black laptop, a HP red laptop and a Playstation 3 games console were taken from the property.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Dc Rob Armstrong, or his colleagues at Southend CID, on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
