A side street will be closed on New Year's Eve for a nightclub's event.
Southend Council will be temporarily closing a road in the town centre to facilitate a New Year’s Eve event at Element night club.
Traffic and pedestrians will be prohibited from entering the east/west section of Market Place between its junction with the High Street and the north/south section of Market Place from 6am on Monday 31st December, 2012, until 9am on Wednesday 2nd January, 2013.
Vehicles belonging to Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, and the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust, are not affected by these temporary closures.
