I half agree with you Brunning999 - you should expect a few right handers in a fight but if anyone feels the need to use weapons, they shouldn't be in the fight in the first place.

Na he was up for it, part of his gang/crew/group of mates call them what you will.

If he had been attacked it would be a entirely different matter.

Just to put you all in the picture, this was not a fight but an unprovoked attack by a group of young people, who attacked him from behind without any prior warning and smashed a bottle into his face. The boy injured was just walking home talking to a girl. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and spent nearly 20 hours in hospital and was also treated at Broomfield by the plastic surgery team needing 16 stitches and left with a nasty scar. There was no reason for this cowardly attack. So please do not comment unless you know the real facts. Its a shame that people cannot walk along the street without the fear and threat of these complete and utter idiots. I have to wonder why some people are so unstable. These are the real facts, he is most definitely not part of a gang where are you getting this information from absolute nonsense. He actually is a nice lad, never in trouble and works with young children and didn't deserve to be left shocked and in a pool of blood. This should be clear to you now. This should have been reported correctly by the newspaper as an attack and not a fight.
