As it appears that a commissioner will be elected want it or not my dilemma is do we not vote at all or vote for someone other that Mick Thwaites, an ex police officer as this would be most inappropiate. Voting for an ex police officer
is rather like voting for an old boys club.

An independent is the only choice if he was old bill all the better at least he knows about what being old bill is all about and will not be bullshitted by senior PoliceMan.

PCCs will be required to swear an oath of impartiality when they are elected to office. The swearing of an oath will be an important symbol of impartiality, emphasising both the significance of this new role in local communities and that PCCs are there to serve the people, not a political party or any one section of their electorate.

A good example is Bob Spink thrown out by back stabbing party members.
