Victoria Beckham has revealed her daughter Harper plays with Spice Girls dolls, and that the youngster has now learned of her pop music past.

The fashion designer shared pictures of her youngest child playing with the five dolls that represent herself and former bandmates Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton, in their typical Spice Girls attire from the 1990s.

Posting on her Instagram story, Beckham revealed that the six-year-old “loves” the nostalgic toys.

In a follow-up message on the service, which allows users to share pictures and videos for a 24-hour period, she hinted that it was the first time Harper had discovered that her mother was in the band.

Along with a photo of Harper looking at the dolls, Beckham wrote: “When u find out mummy was a pop star!!”

Harper, the 43-year-old’s fourth child with husband David Beckham, was born in 2011, long after the Spice Girls disbanded.

They reunited as a five-piece in 2012 for the London 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony when Harper was one.

Beckham rose to fame in the group in the mid-1990s and later embarked on a solo music career in the 2000s, before giving up music for fashion.

There have recently been reports of a Spice Girls reunion, but Beckham will not take part if one takes place.

Earlier this year, Beckham received her OBE from the Duke of Cambridge in recognition of her 17-year career in the fashion industry that has seen her become one of the biggest names in the business.
