It seems Mark Ruffalo absolutely loves Withnail And I and so he reasonably lost his mind when he met the film’s star Richard E Grant at the Baftas.

The Spotlight actor, who was nominated for best supporting actor but lost out to Mark Rylance, snapped selfies with all his faves.

He captioned his picture with the English actor: “Richard E Grant!! Richard E Grant! Withal! (sic) #BAFTA experience”

He even snapped a stealthy pic with fashion hotshots Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti.

More keen to take pictures were Mark’s co-star Stanley Tucci and director Tom McCarthy.

Mark, who plays The Hulk in the Avengers series, showed off his softer side when he shared a Valentine’s Day snap of him and his wife Sunny in their seats at the Royal Opera House.

Giammetti later shared his own pics from inside the ceremony, hailing host Stephen Fry as “the funniest man in the UK” in this Instgram shot.

Elsewhere, American Horror Story actress Angela Bassett was welcomed to the capital by Star Wars actor and EE Rising Star Award recipient John Boyega.

Earlier in the day, the Force Awakens star was hanging out with his adorable nephew rather than spending time primping ahead of the ceremony:

Noel Clarke, who won the Rising Star award in 2009, shared this snap with Kingsman star Taron Egerton on the red carpet.

Bafta shared their own photos of the megastars arriving to their party, including these shots of Idris Elba, Matt Damon, Steven Spielberg and Eddie Redmayne.

Who doesn’t love a snap happy celeb?!
