Kate Bosworth has let slip she is engaged to be married.

The Blue Crush star - who has previously dated Orlando Bloom and Alexander Skarsgard - began dating director Michael Polish for about a year, and now she has revealed he is her fiance.

Kate writes in a new travel blog for Vogue magazine about her summer holiday in South Korea: "On our first day in Seoul, my fiance, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace."

She mentions nothing more about their relationship as she describes the holiday.

Kate, 29, was first spotted stepping out with Michael at a Coldplay concert in August 2011 in Los Angeles.

They have since been pictured together at events and the 41-year-old director cast her in his upcoming film Big Sur about Jack Kerouac's trips to a cabin on the Northern California coast.

Kate split from her Star Dog co-star Alexander last July after two years of dating.

She dated Orlando between spring 2002 and 2005.
