Dean Everett, a loyal member of respected property management company PMS Managing Estates, is celebrating his recent promotion to associate director.

Having been in the property industry for 19 years and with the Colchester-based firm since 2010, the 51-year-old father of one, who looks after the entire property management team, said he was “nervous and excited in equal measure” to have been given the promotion and saw it as “a reward for six years of very hard work in the department”.

He said: “I get a real sense of satisfaction at having done something that improves the standard of living for people in the developments we manage.”

Dean is one of around 30 staff at the business; back in 2002 there were just six employees. Now PMS Managing Estates looks after in excess of 160 developments, including 6,000 homes, across the whole of the Anglia region expanding out to Crawley, London and Hertfordshire.

Dean added: “We are a dedicated Property Management company, and our membership of governing bodies such as the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) ensures our clients have the up-to-date advice concerning the latest legislation relating to the management of their development.”
