Our popular Essex-wide Careers and Training Event will be back in Colchester on Tuesday, September 20 at Colchester Town Hall.

Working in partnership with Colchester Borough Council and the Department of Work and Pensions it’s here to get the people of Colchester and surrounding areas into suitable jobs or on the best training courses to improve their chances of getting the right job role in the future.

The show is an ideal platform to promote not only job opportunities within your organisation but also training opportunities. This gives you the opportunity to meet potential employees/delegates face to face.

Last year, hundreds of people flocked to the Town Hall, all hopeful to either find a vacancy to suit them or to find a suitable training course or apprenticeship.

There are advisors on hand to offer support with CV writing and top interview techniques.

Those businesses attending the show were also featured in the Daily Gazette Careers and Training supplement which was also given out to those attending the day.

Kelly Roast, events manager, Newsquest Essex said: “Feedback was positive following the event last year and we received lots of great news to say positions had been filled and additional delegates were signed up to attend courses.

“We’re looking forward to this year’s event and hope it makes a difference to people in the local area and their future career paths. We look forward to seeing as many people on the day.”

The event takes place at Colchester Town Hall, High Street, Colchester, between 10am and 3pm. Entry is free.
